A shared creative experience that brings people together, strengthens collaboration and leaves a lasting reminder of what’s possible when people create together.
The challenge
Like many organisations, Loop Customer Management had embraced hybrid working. While the team worked well together, opportunities to build relationships outside day-to-day tasks had become less frequent.
The leadership team wanted an experience that would reconnect people, encourage collaboration and leave them with something meaningful that reflected what they had achieved together.
Our approach
We designed a three-hour Create & Connect workshop with one simple objective:
Reconnect people through creativity.
Creative icebreakers helped everyone relax before moving into a collaborative art experience where each participant created one 30cm x 30cm canvas. Individually they painted part of the picture. Together they created something much bigger.
The session began with relaxed creative exercises that removed any pressure around drawing or painting.
Once the collaborative artwork was introduced, conversations naturally changed. As participants saw how their canvases connected, they began discussing colours, helping each other and solving problems together.
Without prompting, the room became genuinely collaborative.
By the end of the workshop, 18 individual canvases had become one connected artwork, demonstrating how individual contributions create something stronger together.
More than just painting
The strongest theme wasn’t the artwork.
It was the conversations.
Participants spoke about reconnecting with colleagues, working towards a shared goal, seeing each other differently and taking time away from the pressures of the working day.
The finished artwork is a lasting reminder of the experience, but the real outcome was stronger relationships and a more connected team.
The Impact
- 100% felt more comfortable participating.
- 100% would recommend the workshop.
- 100% would attend another Create & Connect workshop.
- 92% felt more connected to colleagues.
- 92% said the activity positively affected their well-being.
- 85% felt calmer, less stressed and more energised.
Participants left feeling calm, connected, relaxed, happy, refreshed and energised.
